About Speedy
Meet Speedy - an 11-week-old ball of energy and love!
True to her name, Speedy is always on the move, a little black and tan blur zipping around the yard as she joyfully does zoomies in between her training sessions. This adventurous pup is on the lookout for a family who can keep up with her boundless energy and excitement for life.
Speedy is perfect for a home with children 6 and older who are ready to be the center of this little pups world. She loves being the center of attention, so she'll need a family ready to give her plenty of love, attention, and fun!
Speedy would thrive in a home with another canine companion. She's a social pup who loves making friends, and with slow, safe introductions, she could also live with cats.
While Speedy is still learning the ropes, she is eager to please and would benefit from a family willing to invest time and patience into teaching her new skills. With the right training, she's sure to grow into a well-behaved and loving family member.
Speedy is seeking a home ready to include her in all their family activities.
A family that's patient and consistent with training, understanding that a puppy like Speedy requires time to learn and grow.
A safe and secure yard where she can continue to burn off his zoomie energy!
If you're looking for an active, affectionate, and fun-loving pup to add to your family, Speedy is the one! Her playful spirit and sweet nature will make him a wonderful addition to a family willing to provide the time, attention, and training he needs to thrive.
To book a meet and greet with Speedy please phone 5441-2209 or email barcreception@bendigo.vic.gov.au . Due to the high volume of emails received, inquiries with a request for a specific appointment with phone details included will receive a response as priority over generic applications which state they are interested in meeting an animal.
Are you ready to bring Speedy into your home and heart?

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
