About Eno
Eno, the 9-year-old long-haired Chihuahua, is ready to bring a splash of personality and warmth into your home! Sadly, due to a change in his owner's circumstances, Eno now finds himself at BARC, eagerly awaiting a new family who will appreciate his unique blend of energy and sweetness.
This little guy has adjusted to his new situation with resilience and a heart full of love, looking to share his infectious spunk and boundless affection. Eno is not your typical couch potato-he's active, fit, and more interested in being your devoted shadow, joining you in every adventure life has to offer. Whether it's a walk in the park, a hike in the mountains, or simply hanging out, Eno is always game for the next exciting chapter.
He's dog-social, getting along well with other calm-natured dogs, so if you have a canine companion, he'll happily make a new friend. Eno may be small, but he's packed with the charm of a Hollywood star and the sweetness of a warm, freshly baked bun. If you're looking for a little companion who can match your pace and bring joy into your life, Eno just might be the perfect fit.
Ready for a loyal friend who's eager to be by your side through thick and thin? Eno is here, waiting to bring his love and companionship to your home.
To book a meet and greet with Eno please phone 5441-2209 or email barcreception@bendigo.vic.gov.au . Due to the high volume of emails received, inquiries with a request for a specific appointment with phone details included will receive a response as priority over generic applications which state they are interested in meeting an animal.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
