About Baxter
Introducing the happy go lucky Aussie Terrier X Shih Tzu, Baxter, With a beautiful mix of the Aussie Terrier which is even tempered, loyal and spirited, not to mention the wonderful shih tzu who is considered to have a perky and happy temperament.
Baxter will be suited to a family who is active, and enjoys the outdoors. Baxter is fairly confident, so puppy classes will definitely benefit him hands down. He does love to snuggle and share his time with his humans, so a nice balance of this would be beneficial for him. Due to Baxter's activity level we would not recommend him for an apartment/unit.
Baxter will come microchipped, had his first vaccination and wormed. Baxter will also be desexed at 6 months of age under the direction of our vet.
Baxter will leave waggy tails with his very own Waggy Pack.

ADOPTION PROCESS:

What does this mean?
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry
2. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place. You must bring your current dog along to the meet and greet if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption.
3. 7 day trial period commences once the animal has been collected from Waggy Tails.
4. Adoption is finalised after 7 day trial, Ownership and Microchip paperwork is sent via email after this period. Please note this may take up to 4 weeks dependent on microchip paperwork. If for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to Waggy Tails the Adoption fee can be refunded minus an admin fee (Minimum $250).
5. All animals for adoption are kept up to date with vet work UNTIL date of adoption. Inclusive of vaccinations, monthly worming and flea treatment. New owners are responsible for keeping preventatives current at their cost from date of adoption.
