About Monty
Meet Monty! Monty is a friendly and happy little cat with a love for adventure! He’s always on the lookout for the next toy or bug to chase, and his playful energy is contagious. Monty has a passion for climbing and loves being up high—whether it’s on a scratch post or a shelf, his confidence soars when he’s on top. He enjoys being petted and will happily play with your hands. Monty gets along well with other cats, though he may need some time to feel comfortable and safe around them. Once he’s settled in, he’s a laid-back and relaxed companion. Monty just needs a little patience and love to continue growing into the sweet, affectionate kitty he's meant to be. Monty will need to remain indoors to protect him from the outside dangers. If you would like to meet Monty, please meet him instore at PETstock Tuggerah!

Adoption details
- You contact us to obtain an adoption application and discuss the animal of interest.
Once the application is completed and returned it will be assessed for suitability. We will also ask for rental agreements or rates and photos of your home. Please also include photos of your fencing .
- A meet and greet with the dog and all members of the adopting family and current dogs are arranged where possible.
This usually coincides with a yard check, to ensure the safety and security of the property on which the dog will be kept. - we understand that this is not always possible in interstate adoptions and this will be discussed on your initial contact.
- Payment of the adoption fee is made in one full payment. The dog is then handed over with any belongings, and all relevant paperwork and records. Please note we do have contracts in place that must be signed.
- Once the 14 day 'settling in' period has ended, the change of ownership microchip details are submitted to council and the adoption is officially finalised.
- For interstate adoptions- The adoptor must have a meet and greet with the animal they are adopting. We will not send an animal over without a meet. All transport costs including flights, will need to be paid in full by the adoptor.
- For cats, all adoptions take place at PETstock Tuggerah unless the profile states otherwise.
