About Peter
Meet Peter! Peter and his siblings were just a few weeks old when they were found as strays. Unfortunately, Peter had a rough start and spent several weeks at the vet battling aspiration pneumonia. It took him about 6 weeks to fully recover after being discharged from the hospital, which meant he had little energy to play with his siblings during that time. Instead, he spent his days cuddling with his foster humans, soaking up all the love and attention he could get! Now, Peter has made up for lost time and is a playful, energetic boy. He can get a little rough during playtime, but it's all part of his enthusiastic nature—he never means any harm! When he's not having fun, Peter loves snuggling up and suckling on clothing while making biscuits. As much as he adores his foster family, Peter is beyond ready to find his forever home and share all his love with his new family! Peter will need to remain indoors to protect him from the outside dangers. If you would like to meet Peter, he will be attending our adoption day on Saturday the 22nd and Sunday the 23rd of March at PETstock Tuggerah!

Adoption details
- You contact us to obtain an adoption application and discuss the animal of interest.
Once the application is completed and returned it will be assessed for suitability. We will also ask for rental agreements or rates and photos of your home. Please also include photos of your fencing .
- A meet and greet with the dog and all members of the adopting family and current dogs are arranged where possible.
This usually coincides with a yard check, to ensure the safety and security of the property on which the dog will be kept. - we understand that this is not always possible in interstate adoptions and this will be discussed on your initial contact.
- Payment of the adoption fee is made in one full payment. The dog is then handed over with any belongings, and all relevant paperwork and records. Please note we do have contracts in place that must be signed.
- Once the 14 day 'settling in' period has ended, the change of ownership microchip details are submitted to council and the adoption is officially finalised.
- For interstate adoptions- The adoptor must have a meet and greet with the animal they are adopting. We will not send an animal over without a meet. All transport costs including flights, will need to be paid in full by the adoptor.
- For cats, all adoptions take place at PETstock Tuggerah unless the profile states otherwise.
