About Cricket
Hi, I’m Cricket! (Yeah… like the sport.)
I guess you could say I’m a bit like my name—quiet, a little understated, and not the most exciting at first glance. I’m not the kind of pup who bounces into a room demanding attention. In fact, when I first arrived, I was missing most of my fur, and I was scared of just about everything—even chairs and brooms! Life was pretty overwhelming, and I didn’t know how to be a confident dog.
But here’s the thing about cricket (the game and me)—once you take the time to understand it, you start to see the charm. I might not be the life of the party, but I have a soft, sweet side that’s worth getting to know. I warm up slowly, but when I do, you’ll see how much I love treats, gentle training, and just being around the people I trust.
I’d love a home with patient humans who can help me keep building confidence, and for this it is recommended for me to not go to a home with any children under 12 years old. I wouldn’t mind a friendly dog sibling to show me the ropes, but I’d also appreciate some quiet time to myself when I need a break.
I know I’m not the flashiest, most exciting pup out there, but I promise—if you give me time, I’ll grow on you. And who knows? Maybe you’ll end up loving Cricket after all.
Love,
Cricket!
