Titan - FIP warrior
Titan is ready to find a home and he deserves a great one.
Titan was one of our 12 yandina cats to come in around April/May last year. He was from a litter of 6 kittens and his brother Hero mutated Wet FIP and didn't make it and then Titan him self mutated Neurological FIP and later on his sister Minty got the dry form. What a wallop!
After 84 days of meds and 84 days observation Titan is officially cured and will go on to live a full happy life. I am ready to pack his bags and send him on his way I just don't know where his going yet. ๐
His one great little cat and I would like the best for him as my heart would break if something bad happend.
His personality is just so cute. He loves to play and likes nibbling on your fingers gently. His got talons like an eagle so I keep those trimmed for safe rough housing. Titan loves to rough house and belly rubs and tickle tackles are a lot of fun for everyone as his just so cute.
He has a wide array of facial expressions and sometimes it can be a little funny. Because of his neurological FIP damage he still occasionally has a slight head tilt which you wouldn't even notice unless you knew his history. So true to Hollywood fashion he sometimes tilts his head and looks up at you with his big adoring eyes as if to say "are you going to pat me?"
On the opposite side of things his easily startled so probably wouldn't suit noisey houses. When he gets a fright he looks at you with a more exaggerated tilt, looking extremely offended before scampering off. It's so cruel, but I never have laughed so hard, then the time I tripped near him and poor Titey got such a fright and ran extremely quickly in small tight circles because of his tilt not going where. I wish I got it on camera. Boy was doing doughnuts. This was when he was still sick. His not like that anymore.
I would love to say he gets along great with other cats as he lives with a big family, but he he carried on like a spoiled princess for a week or 2 when a new cat came in recently. He can live with other cats perfectly fine and loves to play zoomies with them, but you will need to do a very gradual introduction.
I think his just great because his being living right under my nose forever and through a life and death battle. We had some trials and scares, but he did really well on the meds and now we are trauma bonded. I can't keep him nor did I ever plan to so hopefully someone else out there can love him just as much and even more.
Titan has being desexed, vaccinated twice, microchipped, parasite treated and has a naggy foster mum ready to help with the slightest medical issue.
I wish I could say he will never relapse FIP again, but there aren't enough studies yet to prove he will be fine for the rest of his life.
Thankfully he does amazingly with treatment and any medical costs related to that would be covered by us should it ever happen.
He is looking for a strictly indoor only home for the rest of his life for safety.
Transport can be arranged around QLD
Medical notes
Mutated Dry Neurological FIP. Underwent 80 day treatment which went smoothly and it's being months since he was cured.
Adoption details
All our cats and kittens come desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and parasite treated. Our adult cats and high risk kittens are tested for FIV/FELV.
Kittens come home to you around 12 to 13 weeks after being desexed if they are of appropriate weight and health at that time.
All our cats require indoor only homes for their safety and to protect the wildlife. An outdoor enclosure can be a safe way for your cat to experience the outdoors.
We have a number of transport services that can bring your new baby to you around QLD so distance is not an issue.
We do our best to make sure every cat gets the best home they can, but we have a life time returns policy for our adopted babies should they ever find themselves in trouble.
