About Moo
Moo is the full package! This tiny little scruffer is just about the cutest little girl both inside and out. She has a cheeky and sweet personality that warms your heart anytime you are with her. Moo warms quickly to new people and loves to make friends. If there are cuddles on offer, she will be more than willing to accept them! Moo dances on her hind legs when excited and loves to play with her toys, and the toys of other dogs too when she can away with stealing them! She also enjoys exploring the backyard where she makes up her own games, chasing bugs and ripping up leaves for fun.
Moo has come from a home with other small dogs and is currently in foster care with a larger dog. She is confident around smaller sized dogs but can be overwhelmed by big dogs if they are not respectful. However, once she gets to know the other dog, and if they are gentle with her, then she is a very playful and friendly little girl no matter the size of the other dog. Moo is teeny tiny in size, weighing around 2kg. We feel she would be best suited to live with another smaller sized dog who she would be able to have fun with daily.
While in foster care, Moo has shown us what a wonderful little dog she is. She is fully toilet trained, walks well on the lead, can sit and comes to her name. Her foster carer’s have been working on stay with her as well. Moo travels well in the car and sleeps through the night. Her scruffy coat will require regular brushing, but the good news is she loves to have a little pamper session to be groomed. She will also need her eyes wiped daily to avoid tear stains and crusty build up. Moo feels the cold but is compliant in wearing a warm jumper. She must be an inside dog who sleeps inside at night.
Out and about, Moo can be a bit overwhelmed with loud noises and traffic. For this reason, we are looking to home her in a quieter area where her owner has the ability to slowly expose her to noises and continue to build up her confidence in new environments. Moo’s foster carer’s report that she is ok to be left home alone or with another dog for shorter periods of time. She will make an endearing protest for the first couple of minutes and then settles down to wait out your return. Moo will require a secure home as she is small enough to even slip through the bars of a baby gate so you will need to make sure there are no small gaps under fencing, etc.
We are looking for a dog experienced home for Moo where she will be a loved member of the family and given gold star care. She can be a bit of a fussy eater but still needs a high-quality diet to ensure she is getting all the nutrients she needs. Her new owner should be willing to engage in regular teeth brushing as well to combat some early plaque development on her teeth that should be easy to conquer if not allowed to get out of control. Moo needs a home where she will be taken out for daily exercise and provided with some mental stimulation at home, whether that is learning some tricks or being played with.
We will be looking to place Moo in a home with another suitable doggie companion who is a stable role model for her. This ideally will be a smaller dog who is of a gentle but playful nature. Moo has shown that she is quite good with children; however, given her tiny size, any children she will live with or be exposed to must be under supervision and understand that they will need to be very gentle with her. She has had a positive interaction with a 7 week old kitten show she was great with so we do not envision any issues with having a gentle, dog friendly feline in the home.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
