About Ellie
Ellie is the sweetest, friendliest and quite possibly the happiest Bichon Frise girl you could hope to meet!
She’s a super-dooper softy (as gentle as they come) with a real desire to please. Ellie enjoys being a part of the action, even if it's just following you around the house or catching up on some sleep on her dog bed (near you) while you're watching tv. She just LOVES pats, cuddles and affection!
This sweet little girl is looking for a new home through no fault of her own. Sadly, her owners made the move back overseas and were unable to take her.
She would suit both families or an individual; most importantly though she would do best where someone was home most of the time or where she had another dog for company. Ellie MUST be allowed inside as she can get anxious if left outside for extended periods.
Ellie is a small girl (approx 4.5kg) yet gets along superbly with dogs of all sizes, including our greyhound. Although not tested, we are confident she wouldn't take issue with cats, chooks or pocket pets.
Ellie is fully toilet trained and very reliable in all areas of her toileting. She is happy sleeping in a crate at night and we'd recommend this in her new home to begin with too, just to help her settle. She's very eager to please and very trainable with treats too!
Being a Bichon Frise, she will need clipping/grooming in the warmer months to keep her comfortable. There is no need to keep her 'show presentable' unless this is your preference. She's low/to no shedding too.
This kind, gentle girl would be a well-suited new addition to a family that can provide her with the love and attention she craves. All of the hard work is done with Ellie- her recall is fabulous and she is a dream to walk on the lead too.
She is currently housed in Orange, NSW, and she's eagerly awaiting her chance to join a new family.
If you can offer Ellie a kind, loving, patient home please send an enquiry through via Pet Rescue telling us a bit about yourself, your home and your lifestyle.
*Please note- we are often inundated with enquiries and we do our best to respond to everyone. Please make sure you’ve read her description, everyone in your family is aware you’ve sent the application/enquiry and are ready to adopt a dog*

Tell us about the home and lifestyle you can offer Ellie.
We are interested in your family situation (who is in your family) their work/study hours, how long the dog would be left alone during a typical week.
What you can offer a dog in terms of activities, outings and training.
If you have other pets - in most cases we look favourably on a home with an existing dog or the possibility of adding another dog at a later stage (the exception would be if the dog being rehomed is not so good with other dogs).
