**Meet Eira – A Gentle, Food-Loving Shadow**
🐾 8 month old Female | Calm, Affectionate & Loyal

Eira is a sweet little kitten with a big heart and an even bigger love for being close to her humans. She doesn’t just like your company—she *needs* it. Whether you're folding laundry, cooking dinner, or just relaxing, Eira will quietly tag along, happy to lie in your arms or curl up nearby. She's not overly clingy, but being in the same room as you is a must!

After a rough start to life and some early health challenges, Eira has made a swift recovery with the careful management of some oral liquid prednisolone—and now she’s making up for lost time when it comes to food! Mealtime is her favorite time of day, and she’ll greet it with great enthusiasm. Her condition may require ongoing prednisolone which is easy to give, just a few drops on her food. She doesn't require a special diet, but some high quality food would do her the world of good, she is currently on Black Hawk Kitten and loves it. To best protect her and her immune system, we strongly advise to keep her indoors only or have access to a secure catio, where she can enjoy the fresh air, sunshine and most importantly...bird watching

Playtime is all about plush, round ball toys, which she loves to carry proudly from room to room. While she’s playful in her own quiet way, Eira is, above all, a calm and affectionate companion who just wants to love and be loved. Her little quirks include; snoring loudly, intense eye contact during pets, strong headbutts for attention and finding the strangest sleeping spots.

In her foster home, Eira lives with four other cats. She’s can be selective about who she likes to snuggle or play with, but she's perfectly capable of co-existing peacefully with cats she’s less fond of. Her ideal forever home would be a calm environment—either as the only pet, or with one or two other relaxed cats who understand boundaries. She hasn't yet met a dog, but we believe she would do fine with a non-excitable dog who would give her space when she needs it (slow introductions are a must).
