About Hamish
This is the very handsome Hamish.
During his time with the foster carer, Hamish has bonded well with the resident female dogs, showing respect to the old girl and playing with the younger ones He loves, zoomies, playing ball and to romp and play tug-toy with them. Hamish has taken very well to life on the farm and follows his human about, eager to see what needs to be done each morning.
Hamish walks nicely on the leash, (loves to sniff) has great recall and basic commands such as sit, drop, leave, ‘this way’ and wait. He is perfectly house trained and is just as happy inside the house as outside, oh, and he doesn't mind a cuddle once the activity is over!
His meal manners are impeccable, he does not guard his food from the other dogs or gulp his dinner down and enjoys a delicious treat as a reward for being a good boy.
Hamish is a young dog who has yet to grow into his adult body, he is filling out nicely and will no doubt be a stunner with his dark chocolate coat, white chest and tiny white dots on his toes. He is a confident young man, ready to take on a life with his new best mate.
Typical of his breed, Hamish is intelligent, agile and active and will require mental stimulation as well as physical exercise. Ideally there would be another dog for companionship and a play mate at his new home and ongoing training is essential, agility training down the track would be perfect for this active, intelligent dog.
Hamish is located in VIC.
