Chilli - 3 Year Old Mixed Breed

Hi, I’m Chilli!

I’m a sweet, energetic, and loving mix of breeds, searching for my forever family. At a petite 9kg, I'm just as good at being a cuddly lap dog as I am at playing and doing zoomies. I may have had a rough start in life, but that hasn’t stopped me from being a happy, affectionate girl who just wants to love and be loved. My foster family says I have the heart (and snuggles) of a forever puppy!

I absolutely adore people and get along great with other dogs of all sizes. I can be a little shy at first, but once I know I’m safe, my playful and curious personality shines. I love pats, belly rubs, and cuddling up next to my favorite humans. If you work from home, I’d love to keep you company by curling up near your feet. And when the day is done, there’s nothing better than snuggling on the couch together!

I’m still learning some of the basics—like house training and sit/stay commands—but I’m very food-motivated, and I’m trying my best! Sometimes I get a little distracted, but I’m making great progress. I also have a pretty good jump, so I’ll need a secure backyard where I can stretch my legs, play, and burn off some energy.

The outside world is still a bit big and scary to me. Things like busy streets, bikes, and unfamiliar dogs can make me nervous, so I’ll need a patient family to help me gain confidence and enjoy my
walks. With love and gentle guidance, I know I’ll get there!

I love car rides! I might be a little nervous at first, but once we’re moving, I settle right in and enjoy the ride—especially if I get some head rubs along the way. So maybe you’ll take me on lots of
outings with you once I’ve settled in.

I haven’t met cats or small animals yet, but I do live with my sibling, Pepper, and I respect my foster family’s older dog—even though she doesn’t always want to play with me.

What I really, really want is a home where I’m part of the family. I love being close to my humans and need to sleep inside near them, just like I do now. An active home would be awesome, and I’d
be really happy if you wanted to adopt my brother Pepper too, but if I had a doggy friend to play with, that would be great too! I am an inside dog and need to be allowed inside, and to sleep inside.

Chilli is in foster care in Fingal Bay, NSW. Her adoption fee is $500 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, and microchipped.
