About Smyth & Simmo - 2 Year Old Domestic Shorthair
Meet Simmo and Smyth! These gorgeous boys are a bonded pair of 2 year old domestic shorthairs. They are shy at first but blossom into very playful kitties once they feel comfortable.
Smyth is a brilliant black cat with striking orange eyes that turn green in the sunlight. He loves running around the house when he's happy, and playing with toys. He also adores a scratch behind the ears, or a pat under the chin. One of his favourite things is snuggling up in small spaces, especially drawers, boxes bags. Smyth doesn't take too long to adjust, and will be happy to be part of the family pretty quickly.
Simmo takes a lot longer to become comfortable, He is a shy, timid, 2 year old male feline friend ready to love. He wants to trust but his new owner is going to have to invest some time in getting to know him as he is wary of strangers at first. During his time in foster care, he has slowly been coming out of his shell, enjoying head scratches and brushing - two things he has never experienced before.
Smyth and Simmo have grown up together in a multi cat household and it would be great if they could stay together. Simmo needs Smyth by his side to comfort him and gain confidence in unfamiliar surroundings. They are very sweet natured cats and have brought much joy to their foster carers.
Smyth and Simmo are in foster care in the Newcastle area, NSW. Their adoption fee is $250, which includes vaccinations, microchipping and desexing.
