Meet Krist 🖤

Krist is a gentle, emotionally intelligent young cat who brings calm wherever he goes. In his foster home, he quietly moves from cat to cat, rubbing against each one as if checking in, helping everyone feel safe, included, and at ease. He wouldn’t be happy as a solo cat — being part of a cat family is essential to who he is.

With people, Krist is warm, affectionate, and wonderfully gentle. He loves being near you, will come over to say hello, and shows his affection through soft, full-body rubs. He doesn’t enjoy being picked up or patted on the head, but once you understand how he likes to be loved, he’s an easy, comforting presence to live with.

Krist is exceptionally gentle by nature. He never bites or scratches, and even when other cats are rough playing, he chooses calm over conflict. He’s the kind of cat who lowers the volume in a home without ever demanding attention.

Krist has been in foster care for over a year, quietly waiting while other cats have come and gone. We’re not sure why — he’s simply the sort of cat who doesn’t shout for attention but offers something deeper once you notice him.

He bonds deeply with his people, loves sleeping on the bed (especially with calm teenagers), and will often pop in to check on you before heading off again. When visitors arrive, he simply removes himself until the house feels quiet and safe again.

Krist is strictly indoor only and needs a peaceful indoor home with one or more friendly cats who will welcome his gentle presence.
