Cottontail

Cottontail is a slender and spritely young cat who has endless affection for his people.

Finding himself alone in a pound at only 5 weeks old, he was brought in to care with a slightly older litter of kittens to help him adjust to life in a loving home. We’re unsure about his life before arriving at the pound, however he was very friendly and comfortable with people so we suspect he had been raised in a home and not on the street.

Cottontail is confident and happy and seeks attention from whoever is around. He is great with small children and confident with large dogs. He loves to cuddle and wrestle with other playful cats and would love a feline friend in his new home. He tries to play with his older feline foster sister however she isn’t interested, so he respects her space. He is a bit food obsessed so his future family will need to be sure not to leave their dinner unattended! His favourite toys are socks, which he enjoys carrying around the house and tossing in the air to make sure it’s definitely “dead”.

Each night he snuggles up in bed with the kids of the house and doesn’t make a peep all night.

Cottontail is litter trained and can go to a home where he has supervised access to a safe enclosed yard/run. He has been having supervised play time outside and thoroughly enjoys running amok and climbing trees, and always stays close to where his people are.
