About Sully
Sully is handsome with his distinctive harlequin colouring and is a loveable boy with a goofy side.
He makes his foster family laugh with how he bounces around throwing up a toy and chasing it.
Sully is very food motivated and has mastered sitting and waiting for his meals, waiting to go through doorways or out through the gate for a walk until he's given the command.
He likes to check the kitchen for anything you might’ve dropped or left on the bench, and slowly leaves the kitchen when you tell him "out".
Sully is new to going for walks and is still learning to walk on the lead. As there's lots to check out and smell, other dogs and people that he wants to say hello to. Sometimes there is something that he isn't sure about and is nervous.
Sully is not sure about creeks yet and only goes in when his fur sister does, and doesn't like anything deeper than his knees as he's yet to learn to swim
He's very friendly with other dogs and isn't bothered by little fluff balls that yap in his face or through the back fence. Because he's basically still a puppy in a big body his playfulness can be a bit much for some dogs. And he can be cheeky, barking at his fur sister when she's on the dog bed he's decided he wants to be on.
He adores having a family, especially kids and will often after playing come and hang out beside you. Be a part of the kids activities even let his foster Mum's grandchild do chalk drawing around his paw.
He is learning to leave the cats alone and is currently only okay with them under supervision. He is not okay with birds at all and sees them as something to chase and catch.
He will thrive with a family that let him be an inside/outside dog, include him in whatever they are doing. Have another doggo that he can hang with during the day when they're not home, along with some chew toys otherwise if he's bored he'll look for and find something to do.
Sully will benefit from ongoing training and once matured will come into his own and be a more amazing dog then he already is.
