Messina

Hi team, my name is Messina... and look, we could go through the farce of pretending I’m named for the town Messina in Sicily but let’s not kid ourselves - of course I’m named for the gelato shop!

And why is that, I hear you ask yourself? Well, it’s easy. It’s because I’m so scrumptious *proud ears*.

Just like your favourite ice cream I’m a delicious addition to any occasion who will give you a lift on a bad day and make the good times even better!

Now, just like any doggie gelato I pair with some flavours better than others, and I confirm that I am perfect combined with peanut butter ripple (brindle greyhound), salted caramel (fawn greyhound) or dark liquorice (black greyhound) - in fact any other greyhound flavour. But not so much a single scoop of shredded coconut that only comes up to my first set of elbows please.

Our matchmakers go to greyt lengths to match each hound with the right family to make sure everyone's happy, and you'll become part of a wonderful rescue community with lots of support along the way!

All hounds are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated, and heartworm tested/treated. The adoption fee also includes our New Adopter Kit - collar, leash, muzzle and loads of other goodies to help you get your new hound settled into the family.
