About Hawk
Meet Hawk, the pretty boy with a heartwarming temperament and a captivating presence. Hawk is a delightful dog whose love for people is as vast as his affection for cuddles and pats. He's always ready to greet visitors with joy, but he also knows when it's time to relax and settle down. Attentive and friendly, Hawk is the kind of dog who'll follow you around, eager to be part of whatever activity you're engaged in, whether it's doing chores or just relaxing.
This clever canine shows an interest in exploring new toys and the big garden outdoors, making each day with him an exciting one. Currently in foster care, Hawk is learning about the world at his own pace. He may feel a bit overwhelmed with larger, more boisterous dogs, and would thrive with an owner who has a supportive network of family or friends with gentler canine companions that he can regularly socialise with. This would give Hawk the chance build his confidence in a nurturing environment so that his true happy and playful personality can blossom. One of his favourite pastimes is playing tug-of-war with his mum and siblings, showcasing his playfulness.
Hawk is making excellent progress with toilet training and is beginning to learn the ropes of responding to calls. He needs a dedicated owner who can continue his training, offer consistent guidance, and introduce him to new experiences. Hawk would love nothing more than to be part of your adventures and outings, where he can further explore the world around him with enthusiasm and curiosity. With the right companion by his side, Hawk is sure to blossom into the perfect adventure buddy and loyal friend.
We are looking for a dog experienced home for Hawk where he will be a loved member of the family and included in the daily activities. He can live with another friendly adult dog who is already fully trained and ready to be a great role model for him. Hawk can also be an only dog with the appropriate support and guidance from his new owner in growing his independence. Regardless, his new owners should be home more often than not and have sufficient time to commit to his development and training. Hawk should be allowed inside to be with the family and will need a warm comfy bed inside to sleep on at night.
Hawk is young enough to learn to live with other types of pets with the appropriate guidance. He would be suitable to live with dog savvy children who are old enough to participate in his training and follow the direction of the adults in the household. Hawk will be best suited to a home with a secure yard and will require a home that can provide daily exercise and mental stimulation to keep him happy and healthy throughout his life.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
