Looking for a pup with intelligence, charm, and some seriously impressive eyebrows? Meet Crookie, the gentle, lovable goofball who’s equal parts snuggly, playful, and completely unaware of how her own limbs work!

Crookie is a bright and affectionate pup who’s already mastering the basics—she’s toilet trained (as long as she has access outside), sleeps in her crate with minimal fuss, and has perfected ‘sit’ and ‘come’. She’s still figuring out ‘drop,’ but with her long limbs and slightly klutzy nature, that’s a work in progress!

She loves everyone she meets (so don’t expect a guard dog), enjoys snoozing in the most ridiculous positions, and recently won a battle against her own dog tag—after spending a week trying to catch it, she finally did and proudly showed it off like it was an Olympic medal.

With Kelpie in her genes, Crookie will need an active home that keeps her both physically and mentally engaged—she’s shaping up to be the perfect adventure buddy!

- A home where she can be with her people—she’s currently a little shadow but is learning independence.
- A family with or without another dog (a confident playmate would be a bonus!).
- An active household that can give her daily walks and enrichment to keep her mind and body busy.

Compatibility Check!
- Other dogs? Yes! She’s had some great interactions and would love a dog sibling to show her the ropes.
- Cats? Not tested, but with a slow and careful introduction, she may be just fine.
- Kids? She’s doing great with learning not to jump, but since she’s likely to be a big girl, kids over 5 would be the best match.

Energy & Lifestyle Needs
- Crookie is a classic puppy—she gets random bursts of energy, enjoys chewing things, and is currently learning not to bark at her own reflection. While she’s playful now, her Kelpie mix means she’ll need plenty of daily exercise as she grows. That said, she also loves a good snooze on the couch after an active day!
