About Misha
Meet Misha! Sweet, playful, and full of love, Misha has been waiting for her forever home since January and she hasn’t had a single adoption enquiry!!
This high-energy girl requires a lot of stimulation and thrives on adventure, and in return, she’ll give you loyalty, love, and endless cuddles. Misha loves people and is eager to please, always wanting to do her best. She gets along with some dogs but not all, and this mainly depends on the other dog’s temperament and the environment, likely due to past traumas. For this reason, we believe she’d do best in a home with a male or a submissive female dog. Having another dog is a 𝗺𝘂𝘀𝘁 for Misha, as she truly enjoys the company of a friend.
Misha has a curious and adventurous spirit, and she loves exploring! However, when it’s time to wind down, she’s just as happy to snuggle up close. She’s an inside/outside dog – she’s fine outside when her humans are out and about, but she 𝗺𝘂𝘀𝘁 be allowed inside when you’re home. Misha adores being around her people and doesn’t cope well with being left outside when you’re home.
She’s house-trained, leash-trained, travels well in a car, and was crate-trained in a previous foster home. Misha also has excellent recall! On off-leash walks, she’ll even stop and wait for you to catch up before moving on. Misha would thrive in a home that’s active and outdoorsy. Her current carer says that Misha would be the perfect camping buddy – she’ll sit quietly while you fish, relax by your side at the campfire, and stick close by with her incredible recall. She’d be a great dog for someone who hikes or competes in dog sports as well.
If you’re looking for a loyal, energetic, and affectionate pup who’s ready to explore life by your side, Misha might just be your perfect match!⠀
**PLEASE NOTE ** All animals will be vaccinated, desexed, microchipped, and up to date with preventatives (fleas, ticks, mites etc) at time of adoption. All dogs over 6 months at time of intake are also tested for heartworm, and treated if positive. If animals are too young for desexing at time of adoption, a desexing voucher will be provided to the adopter.
