About CFA (Seefa)

CFA is a beautiful old soul who absolutely adores people, has a lot of love to give and makes for the most loving companion.
She always wants to be around you so that she can be part of whatever you are doing and will never miss an opportunity for a smooch or a pat.
She was found during a bushfire when she was very young, which is how she got the name CFA, but her people pronounced it as "Seefa".
Unfortunately her previous owner passed away and so her partner took CFA in as his own. Unfortunately after 2 years of trying CFA just could not adapt to a household that had another cat in it so her new person made the tough decision to find her a new home.
Her favourite thing in the world is being groomed and she lets out the most adorable little chirp when she is on cloud 9. Her love is unconditional and you will win her heart with a simple word... COMBIES and by tapping the comb. She will come running and be so vocal you will laugh your head off.
There is also two very specific combs involved and a specific process that must be followed lol. She loves it when you place her "big comb" on the ground so she can rub herself against it, while your groom her with her "little comb"
This is also a great way to bond with little CFA.
She also has her own special blanket that she likes to sleep on but it must be near your bed so that you can take naps together. CFA will not miss an opportunity to plunk down next to you whenever you are relaxing.
CFA loves the outdoors but will only go as far as she thinks is necessary to get some sun. You will always find her at your feet whenever you enter the kitchen or go near her special grooming combs and she will often follow you around meowing to be groomed.
As a senior woman she is very fussy when it comes to wet food and will only eat Applepaws. She is however less preferential when it comes to dry food. She loves her water fountain and her special dry food feeder elevated so she can drink and eat in comfort.
She is also used to her kitty litter box and prefers crystal litter. She does not like automatic kitty litter boxes.

CFA has had a checkup recently, has no heath concerns that we're aware of and is in great shape. She just needs food, water, litter and love.
CFA is approximately 15 years old and has been desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated and is available for adoption right meow.

Urban Feline Australia is a newly established cat rescue service, run by one passionate individual with the help of friends and volunteers, that is dedicated to keeping cats out of kill shelters and helping them find loving forever homes. We specialize in helping "surrenders" which are cats that have lived with humans previously but for one reason or another their owners are unfortunately no longer able to look after them. We take your pets into our amazing cat sanctuary where they're treated with love and affection until the right forever home is found for them.
Urban Feline Australia is not a large company with government resources, a large facility and a lot of staff. Our tiny rescue is a one man operation run from the safety of our own home. We do this for the love of animals and our only agenda is to save as many cats as we can. We rely heavily on cooperation from friends, other rescues, our amazing foster carers and the kindness of strangers to survive. Every cent we receive from donations and adoption fees is used to keep our rescue running and cover the cost of food, water, litter, equipment and vet bills for the animals in our care.
We are doing as much as we can right now but our dream is to one day be able to purchase a larger property or facility that would allow us to be able to save the lives of many more cats in need. Perhaps even open a cat cafe so that we can spread our message to a wider audience.

Adoption details
We try to make things very easy and straight forward. The first step in the adoption process is a quick chat over the phone to make you are a good fit for the cats needs and personality. From there we arrange a meet and greet at the soonest possible time.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
The rescue group has removed this pet and it is no longer available for adoption.
