This is Twyla! Do not be fooled by her size - she’s a real softy, loveable, affectionate and gentle giant who will steal your heart away in seconds. Twyla is full of life and ready to join a family who will shower her with love and plenty of walks and play. She loves a good cuddle on the couch and will always greet you with cuddles and a wagging tail. She will even keep her paw on you affectionately when you give her pats.

Twyla’s great with other dogs, very placid and calm around them and only wants a good sniff before she goes off and does her own thing. She’s very good in the car and loves the beach, parks and going on new adventures. She is toilet trained (won’t even go in public) and knows basic commands like ‘sit’, ‘stay’, ‘down’ and ‘no’. She’s a very smart and quick learner.

Twyla walks well with a lead and loves receiving attention and is learning to regulate her excitement when seeing bikes. She can also walk side by side with another dog without issue. She is a loveable companion and if you’re working from home, sitting on the couch, or doing some yard work, she will happily sit or lay (and snore) beside you.

Twyla settles very well in new environments and will happily sniff around the area. She is non-destructive and understands boundaries when told. She will sleep all through the night without a peep and can be on high alert if she hears you leaving or coming home. She is very well behaved if left alone during work hours and will sleep the majority of the time or keep herself entertained with the right toys.

Twyla would thrive in a home where she is given lots of attention, playtime, walks and mental stimulation. She is young and energetic but also easy to manage. With the right family and guidance, she will continue to grow into a well-behaved and loving adult dog. Because of her size, a home with a yard or access to outdoor space is ideal. Families with children will find Twyla to be a loveable and playful companion although toddlers and small children may need to be careful in case she jumps. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving and sweet dog, Twyla might just be the perfect match for you.
