About Doris
Doris is an 18-month-old Kelpie girl with a heart full of love and a gentle, affectionate nature. She’s a true lady of leisure whose top priorities are cuddles, cuddles, more cuddles—followed by a relaxed walk and, of course, a well-deserved belly rub!
While in care, Doris has been tested with cats, toddlers, horses, cattle, and other dogs. She adores playing with canine friends, is wonderfully gentle with children, and completely ignores horses and cattle. She has her basic training down pat and walks beautifully on a loose lead.
Doris would thrive in a home that provides her with ongoing training, socialization, and clear boundaries to help build her confidence. Although she has lower energy levels than some Kelpies, she still needs appropriate mental stimulation and an experienced family who understands working dog breeds.
Most of all, Doris loves her humans and longs to be part of a family that will welcome her as one of their own. She’d be happy either as the sole recipient of your affection or with a canine companion by her side.
If you're searching for a sweet, loyal companion who will soak up all the love (and belly rubs!) you have to give, Doris could be your perfect match!
Doris is located in VIC.

Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
