About Romeo
Romeo is a fantastic young boy who has had a difficult start to life, but if we can just find him the right home that fits him he will be amazing.
Romeo has been with a wonderful family for a little while, but life has overtaken them and they just weren't able to keep him sufficiently exercised and entertained. They had started training him to walk on a lead and he was doing very well.
He has recently been desexed, so sometimes he will accidentally mark inside, so a little more training will need to be done once he has settled. He is being gently corrected of this behaviour by his foster mum and she is already seeing improvements in him.
Romeo can show dominant behaviour towards some dogs. The behaviour is not necessarily aggressive but he will jump up on people and stand over other dogs. So we think it would be best for Romeo to go to a one dog home. And it would be preferable if someone was home more often than not because if he gets bored he will try to perform the Great Escape, so good fences will be needed.
Recall is good, but ongoing training in that area would be of benefit.
Romeo is a real velcro pup. He will stick to his person all day and all night. Hopefully this behaviour will lessen as he settles in to his forever home.
This boy has boundless potential with the right family. He learns very quickly and needs an owner who can set him boundaries and teach him right from wrong. His training will need to be gentle as he does get scared of raised hands and loud voices.
Romeo has had all his vet work completed so he is fit and rearing to go to find his new home. Could it be with you?
