Meet Amei, a three-year-old joyful and gentle dog who brings warmth and laughter wherever she roams. Her name, meaning "little sister" in Chinese, suits her perfectly as she delights in being a loyal and playful companion. With a spring in her step, Amei is accustomed to enjoying the vast openness of acreage, making her an ideal fit for a home with a backyard where she can perform her signature zoomies. She is currently living in a small suburban block which suits her just fine as well. Whether she's gallivanting around in the sunshine or accompanying you on a walk, Amei loves being active. In fact, she's a polite walker who gently trots alongside without a hint of tugging, making your daily strolls delightful and enjoyable.
Amei's sweet nature makes her a shadow to her favorite humans, trailing your every move as you go about your daily chores. She's known for her cuddly demeanor, ensuring that no lounging session goes without a soft snuggle on the couch. In the realm of indoor behavior, Amei is exemplary, being that model tenant that leaves no room for complaints. While she's kind enough to leave homewares uninterrupted, unattended food on low tables might just be too tempting for this food-loving cutie. She enjoys her meals with great enthusiasm!
Amei is on a journey of learning where she's practicing reducing her 'licking' tendencies and adjusting her playful mouthing habits. She has a sensitive spot near her right front leg and may flinch when it's touched, likely a result of an uncomfortable harness experience. Nonetheless, when it comes to wearing a harness for walks, she behaves beautifully.
Experientially, Amei is a little investigator, curiously inspecting sounds until she feels at home in her surroundings. Once settled, her playful spirit shines through, inviting you for a cheerful play date through her cute bows and playful barks. She has demonstrated friendliness toward small dogs, although shyness around larger breeds hints at a more cautious side. Her compatibility with cats is unknown, but her timid nature suggests caution would be wise.
Amei is ideal for those who adore playful pets that double as cuddly companions. If you're looking for a snuggle bunny with a zest for life, Amei is sure to fill your home with affectionate, playful energy!

An adoption fee applies to each animal to cover only the basic veterinary procedures, and each adoption goes out on a 21 day settling in period, if the dog is returned in this period, and you’ve spoken to our trainer for assistance, and the dog is returned in good health, mentally and physically, and all their belongings and paperwork are returned, then we provide a refund less $50 admin fee. This is not a trial, but in case of any unknown or unforeseen circumstances.
The adoption process is as follows
✅Everyone that lives in the home will meet the dog with the carer
✅We ask everyone go home again and discuss and think about overnight and contact us the next day
✅This also gives the carer a chance to think about suitability
✅Then if everyone agrees we then require a home inspection, or at least photos of the home yard and fences.
✅Then the adoption fee is paid and once that clears our account you are free to arrange with the carer to collect
✅The adoption paperwork comes out in 14 days in which time you are required to register and change chip over
