About Louie
We at Home2Home believe everyone deserves the joy that cat guardianship brings! We love seeing wonderful cats matched with loving adopters, and we don’t want adoption fees to be a barrier to you bringing a loving cat into your heart and home. So if Louie sounds like the cat for you, we ask you to nominate your adoption fee amount. There is no minimum or maximum amount required, and all adoption fees continue to fund PetRescue’s life-saving programs that support pets and people!
Louie is a cool cat with a mind of his own—playful yet independent, smart yet low-maintenance. He enjoys his space but knows exactly when to make his presence known (especially around mealtime!). If you're looking for a feline friend who’s both entertaining and easygoing, Louie just might be the ideal match.
When he's not cozied up for a nap, Louie can be found perched in his high chair by the window, watching the world go by. He has a keen eye for birds and a soft spot for his favourite interactive ball, which keeps him happily entertained. And when it comes to food, he's a bit of a connoisseur—fish gets a paws-up, but chicken? Not so much!
Louie’s affection comes on his own terms, making it all the more special. He’ll greet you with an endearing head-butt before mealtime and might even curl up on your lap for an evening snuggle session. His soft black-and-white tuxedo coat and playful nighttime zoomies are sure to bring a smile to your face!
He’d thrive in a calm household without other pets, where he can lounge, observe, and grace you with his presence. If you're looking for a charming, independent companion, Louie would love to meet you!

When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s guardian—the person who knows them best!
From here, the guardian will be in touch to learn more about you and chat with you about their pet. It’s a great opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
If your home and lifestyle match the pet's needs, the next step will be arranging a meet-and-greet to make sure everyone is happy to proceed with a formal adoption.
Following the adoption, change of ownership paperwork will be completed, and proof of vaccination, microchipping, and desexing (if applicable, as indicated on the listing) will be provided.
All pets adopted through Home2Home will require an adoption contract to be signed and an adoption fee to be paid. The pet’s guardian will complete the adoption contract with you and provide a link to PetRescue’s secure payment portal for completing the adoption fee payment.
Home2Home currently operates a ‘pay what you choose’ system for cat adoption fees. This means that adopters will be able to choose an adoption fee amount that is suitable for them. All adoption fees are used to support PetRescue's life-saving programs, including Home2Home.
