Carlo

Sweet Carlo is looking for a unique home where he will have the company of a loving and patient owner/s he can live his best life with. In his life prior to SAFE, Carlo was left to his own devices with little positive human interaction, and while he is thriving in foster care he has a way to go to learn what it's like to truly be loved, play and feel like the world is a safe place. Carlo would suit a home with a similar sized female dog and as said someone who'll give him patience and will nuture his gentle spirit. Carlo is toilet trained, can use a doggy door, has a healthy appetite and gently enjoys a treat. He is learning what toys are and will very gently engage in a game of tug of war. While he follows his people, he doesn't yet walk on a lead as his carers have been focussed on confidence building and exposing him to new people, toys and positive experiences around the home. Carlo may always be wary of new people and environments but he bonds beautifully with his people and will love you like noone else can, giving you gentle kisses and curling up beside you. Carlo will not suit a home with young children and will need to find a home with any children 12 plus.
