Meet Volk, the sweetest shadow you’ll ever have.
This beautiful boy has had a rough start in life, but you wouldn’t know it now! He’s wise beyond his years, he’s come such a long way and is ready to find his perfect forever home!

Volk loves his dog friends, he’s thriving in a pack environment with 3 large dogs so he would love a doggy companion in his new home to keep him company. He’s so polite when meeting new dogs, even the ones that bark in his face!

Volk has also met kids 8+ and is gentle with them, he would do well in a family home with older kids as long as the kids are dog savvy

Volk is a true Velcro dog, he just wants to be with his people, so he’d prefer a home where someone is around more often than not. That being said, when left home alone we do have him in his crate and after a couple howls he does settle.

In true large breed form, Volk is not high-energy but he’d love a yard to play in with his doggy friends. Inside the house he’s a mega couch potato cuddle bug! His absolute favorite thing to do is curl up on the couch with you and fall asleep. He’ll also find you anywhere in the house and rest his big head into your lap for pats.

Volk is smart and food-motivated, making him a dream to train. He’s already picking up leash manners and loves learning new things. He loves his toys so plenty of toys around the house is a must!

Volk is mostly toilet trained. He will scratch at the back door to let you know he needs to go out. He is only young he can still have accidents but he tries his hardest to let you know first.

Since he’s going to be a large dog, we’d prefer a home with experience handling bigger breeds.
