About Kami
Meet Kami, a lovely and gentle feline who is eagerly searching for her perfect home. With her soft and graceful demeanor, Kami is a queen at heart who desires a serene household where she can shine as the steadfast companion you’re looking for.
Although Kami might not be a fan of conventional cuddles, she expresses her affection in her unique ways, like offering gentle head butts and sweet smooches. Her nuances are endearing and will capture the heart of anyone who can appreciate a cat with a subtle yet profound affection.
Kami would thrive in a calm environment where her quiet nature is appreciated. Whether she's lounging comfortably in a sunbeam or tenderly connecting with her humans, she adds a tranquil presence to any home.
If you believe you have the serene and loving environment that Kami will treasure, we invite you to visit her at 17/39-41 Corporation Circuit, Tweed Heads South. Our doors are open from Monday to Saturday, between 10 am and 3 pm. To express your interest in adopting Kami, please complete our online adoption expression of interest form through the link here: [Adoption Expression of Interest](https://friendsofthepound.com/adoption-expression-of-interest/).
Embark on this journey with Kami and provide her the peaceful, queen-like setting she deserves.

Adoption details
If there is a cat/dog you would be interested in adopting that you have seen online or met at our Adoption Centres, you will need to fill out an Expression of interest. You can do this at the Centres or online at: https://friendsofthepound.com/adoption-expression-of-interest/
We only adopt out cats and dogs to locations that are within 2 hours driving distance.
If you are a homeowner, we need a copy of your Rates Notice. If you have a Body Corp, we need their written permission that cat/dog ownership is allowed.
If you are in a rental we need written permission from the Home owner/Letting Agent. The letter needs to be dated within the last week and state the property address, the name of the Occupant (adopter-to-be) and how long you have been at the property.
We cannot accept deposits and no hold can be put on a cat/dog.
All adoptions need to be approved by our Cat, Kitten or Dog Coordinators or Management so you might not be able to adopt the cat or dog at the time you meet them.
We aim to match the cats/dogs with the most suitable owner and home environment. Our goal is to have the cats and dogs go to a home where they can spend their entire lives, which could be up to 20 years or more for a kitten, and 15-20 years for a puppy.
