Meet Max – The Tuxedo Wonder Who Just Needs a Little… Encouragement!
Well, well, well… look who we have here! A dashing young tuxedo lad named Max, and let me tell ya—this one’s got potential! Sure, he’s a bit shy, a little cautious, maybe even the teensiest bit skeptical of this whole “humans are great” thing.
Now listen, Max is in need of a good home, a warm lap, and a patient heart to help him see that the world isn’t full of shrieking eels or Rodents of Unusual Size. With a little love, some scrumptious treats (seriously, don’t underestimate the power of a snack!), and maybe a calm, confident feline mentor to show him the ropes, he’ll be strutting around like he owns the place in no time.
What do you get in return, you ask? Oh, just the satisfaction of knowing you’ve earned the trust of a truly wonderful companion—a cat who will look at you with those big, golden eyes one day and say (in his own cat way), “As you wish.”
So, are you the one who will give Max his happily-ever-after? Because if you are, well… it’d take a miracle for you to find a better cat.

Adoption details
Before applying to meet one of our cats, please ensure that
- you have the agreement of all members of the household to adopt a Cat
- you have your landlords permission to keep a pet. More information on what to do is available at https://www.consumer.vic.gov.au/housing/renting/applying-for-a-rental-property-or-room/pets-and-renting
- you have all the necessary bits and pieces to welcome your new family member, starting with a cat carrier to bring them home, a litter tray, litter, food and bowls as well as a bed, toys and scratchers
- you are ready to welcome them home NOW. We are unable to hold a cat for you if you are not ready to adopt.
All funds raised at Neko HQ are to benefit Maneki Neko Cat Rescue.
