About Ellie
Please only apply for this greyhound if you have:
- A home with lots of love to give this sweet gal
Meet Ellie, the Ultimate Love Bug!
Ellie is a snuggle enthusiast who thrives on attention from her humans. This adorable little noodle will spin around you with the happiest, waggliest tail. Her love language is physical touch and she will not hesitate to shower you with kisses or boop you with her wet snoot to demand for more pats!
Ellie is an adventure seeker and will enthusiastically jump and settle into the boot of an SUV or hatchback. She walks beautifully on the lead and is suited for an older person. Ellie can navigate the stairs and is also toilet trained. She is a clever girl, food-motivated, and eager to please and will respond well to training.
Ellie is very easy going and happy with one or two short walks each day. She has been friendly and polite when meeting leashed and unleashed small dogs on her walks and is currently living with another greyhound in her foster home where she happily shares her toys and bed. Ellie is not bothered by loud noises on walks and is confident on the lead.
During the rest of the day, Ellie enjoys roaching in her bed, snoozing or playing with her soft toys (the cuddlepillar is her favourite!). Whilst she is incredibly affectionate, she is also independent and perfect for full-time workers.
Ellie is a bit of an introvert when meeting new humans, especially when a big group of new humans come visit the house. However, with lots of praise, treats and a bit of time, Ellie will come out of her shell and will not hesitate to show everyone her loveable, affectionate self.
If you're ready to be showered with love and snuggles, Ellie is the perfect companion for you!
[Note: Under Victorian Law greyhounds must be on-leash at all times in public areas, including in off-leash parks or ovals]
