About Cadet
Cadet is a social butterfly, always eager to meet new people and soak up attention-especially if it involves belly rubs and ear scratches. Cadet adores cuddles and isn't shy about demanding them, though she can be a little rough with her love bites. She's highly food-motivated, making her eager to learn, though she has a competitive streak when treats are involved. She's currently working on her patience and learning to sit calmly before receiving her rewards. While she gets along well with her foster siblings, she can be a bit pushy with bigger dogs and isn't afraid to voice her opinions when things don't go her way.
This little firecracker is full of energy and always looking for something to do. She's a chewer at heart, so durable toys, especially food puzzle toys, are a must to keep her busy and out of mischief. Cadet thrives in a home where she can have plenty of mental and physical stimulation to keep her entertained. While she hasn't been on many walks yet, she's confident and curious about the world and would likely enjoy new adventures once she's ready. She has full indoor-outdoor access in her foster home-she'll make sure you know it if she's unhappy about being left out of the action!
Despite her mischievous streak, Cadet is also a cuddly, affectionate companion who loves to snuggle up after a long day of play. She's a bit of a princess and has fully claimed her spot in bed, grumbling if she's woken up too soon. She's still working on toilet training, but she's making great progress and will thrive with a consistent routine. With the right balance of structure, patience, and plenty of love, Cadet will grow into a devoted and entertaining best friend who brings joy, laughter, and plenty of personality into her forever home.
