Faithful, Playful, and Lovable
Meet Vinnie, a gorgeous hound who has happily embraced pet life! He was born to be loved and adored, and he gives back so much love and affection in return. He has formed strong bonds with his foster family and their resident hound, proving he will make a faithful and loving pet for his forever family. He has even lived peacefully alongside two indoor guinea pigs!

Vinnie mastered toilet training very quickly—he can hold his toilet needs all day while his foster family is at work and all night while everyone is asleep. He even lets his humans know when he needs to go by standing by the back door—such a clever boy!

Vinnie has been a joyful addition to his foster home thanks to his happy and playful personality. He loves playing with toys and gets super excited when his humans or the resident hound join in on the fun! He is incredibly friendly, greeting visitors with happy wags and plenty of affection. He is also gentle with children (the youngest in his foster home is 8 years old) and often seeks out cuddles from them. His foster parents have absolutely loved caring for him and can’t wait to see him find the forever family he deserves!

One area Vinnie has worked hard on is his lead manners. When he first arrived, he would pull and was a bit tricky to walk. But with positive training and patience, he has improved significantly! While he still gets excited when his lead goes on, he now enjoys sniffing the flowers and marking every tree in sight during his walks. He hasn’t had many big adventures yet, but his foster parents believe he would do well in either city life or a quieter suburb—he’s more interested in who he’s with than where he is.

Vinnie and the resident hound are left alone during the day while the family is at work and school, and he handles it like a champion! With plenty of toys, a licky mat, and a long-lasting chew, he is happy to settle in and relax. He has shown zero separation anxiety—no chewing furniture, no accidents, just a happy boy waiting for his humans to return.
