About Rick
It's time to find this boy his forever home. Rick came to us two years ago under difficult circumstances. We found him a fantastic home with an experienced older couple who had a lot of time to help him.
We obtained a trainer for him to help him learn to be a dog. He has come a long way with some learning skills. Unfortunately, one of his pawrents passed away a few months ago, and Rick has come back into care. He is living with a loving family and doing amazingly well, but it's time for him to find his family. Rick is a wolfie cross, six years old. He absolutely loves children and his humans. He would prefer to be an only dog or, with the right introduction, he could potentially do well with a medium to large female. Rick would love to have his own big backyard or acreage to just be with his family and look after everyone. He walks beautifully on a lead, but he's not a dog park kind of dude. He is very versatile in the type of people he would like to be with, as seen by how well he lived with an elderly couple. He is amazing with children, and the right furkid would be okay with a supervised intro. We need a family that spends a lot of time at home or family members who alternate, as he is a very social boy and needs that interaction. Everyone who meets Rick is besotted. He has spent time occasionally in boarding kennels over the last couple of years, and the staff always say he is a delight. He loves car rides. He definitely likes to find a spot on a couch or a spot in the bedroom with someone. As you can see by his pics, he has been loved and cared for over the last couple of years. We're happy to discuss his few little quirks if you're interested in bringing this boy into your home. Rick is in south East Queensland.

Adoption details
We shortlist and contact families who may fit the dogs needs. If indications are positive, normally after sleeping on it, a home check is organised, then an adoption agreement is completed, adoption donation (variable on account of age and health of individual dog) is transferred and the dog will become part of your family.
All our dogs have had a consultation with our vet, are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and treated for fleas. As we want every dog to be in its own family we try and fit dogs into forever homes, we don’t offer “Trials”. Naturally unforeseen circumstances arise occasionally where it’s preferable dogs come back to us as per our adoption agreement.
