About Gizmo
Who wouldn’t want to spend every day surrounded by the sheer adorableness of Gizmo, our 4.5kg fluffy Pomeranian bundle of joy? Like a tiny fluffy teddy bear Gizmo will bring love . joy and happiness to anyone her meets.
Gizmo, a 14-week-old male, has been thriving in foster care with two adults, two teenagers, and his four-legged foster sister. While he enjoys the outdoors, his favorite spot is indoors with his humans. Beyond his undeniable cuteness, Gizmo boasts a lovable personality—he’s cheeky, playful, cuddly, and sociable!
At night, Gizmo sleeps in a crate without any fuss, likely due to being tuckered out from his daily adventures. Occasionally, he dozes off elsewhere but transitions easily to his crate when it’s bedtime.
Gizmo is mostly toilet trained, managing through the night without accidents. He wakes around 6:30 am and needs to be let out first thing to relieve himself, with regular outdoor breaks necessary as he adjusts to new surroundings.
Gizmo isn’t your typical lap dog. This lively and energetic puppy loves walks, playing with toys, roughhousing with his foster sister, chasing balls, and following his humans everywhere.
He’ll stop for a quick cuddle before dashing off to explore more! Gismo is a little social butterfly enjoying the company of calm polite dogs and people
During foster care, Gizmo and his foster sister have been left alone while the humans attend work and school, with access to both inside and outside the house. As a puppy, Gizmo can be quite mouthy ( typical puppy exploring their world) but is easily distracted by toys and hooves. Gismo cheekily likes to help is sister dig in the yard at times but he has never destroyed anything but then is never left inside unsupervised
Gizmo enjoys two meals a day—dry food in the morning and chicken and prime food at night. He’s very food-driven and loves treats, even giving little excited barks when he gets one! This makes training easier, and Gizmo is learning to sit and go to his mat.
He’s doing well on the lead with a harness and loves daily walks. He shows no dog aggression and is generally curious and friendly.
Gizmo has been on a few short car rides and handles them well, with no travel sickness. In care, he’s been bathed and did wonderfully!
With his fluffy coat, regular grooming and brushing will be necessary. Gizmo is an adorable, fluffy puppy who would bring joy to any family and make a fantastic addition.
Given his playful antics, ongoing training and stimulation will be essential to keep his puppy curiosity in check. His foster family has found him delightful (and incredibly cute and cuddly), and he’s seamlessly integrated into their family and routine.
Ideal family An active family who are willing to continue Gismos exposure / training and socialisation Gismo would love an active female dog or similar size. Please don’t apply if your dog won’t enjoy a playful puppy. Gismo will require grooming and care for his fluffy coat so consider the costs involved A home where Gismo will be able to join the family on many adventures, inside time and be loved and spoilt He will require a loving and a family that will treat him like a member of their family. He has not been tested with cats but young enough to learn.
