Pixie will need a patient home where someone is around often to help her settle in, with access to both inside and outside. She's still learning to walk on a lead and may not be ready for big walks initially. Pixie is shy with new people but becomes affectionate once she feels comfortable. She enjoys playing in a clam shell pool and would benefit from crate training to help her have a safe, quiet place to retreat to if things get a little overwhelming. A calm, social dog friend would help build her confidence. Pixie would do best in a home with teens or older.
