About Carrot
Hello, hooman! My name is Carrot, but don’t let the name fool you – I am way more exciting than the vegetable (and definitely a lot cuter). My foster mummy says I am a bit of a lap cat because, well, I believe that if a lap is available, it should be available to me. Sitting down? I’m there. Lying down? Even better. And if I can’t get on your lap, don’t worry - I will boof my head against yours to make sure you still know I love you. Affection is my thing, and I intend to dish it out constantly.
When I’m not busy being the world’s best snuggler, I’m on kitchen duty. That’s right, I take my role very seriously. The moment my foster mummy steps into the kitchen, I am there, supervising. I don’t beg - I just sit patiently (and adorably) as she prepares the food, making sure she doesn’t forget that I require sustenance. A little kitten has gotta eat, after all! And if I’m being honest, I really love food. Like, a lot. If you’re looking for a dinner buddy, I’m your guy.
Now, let’s talk about my adventurous side. I love to explore, but sometimes I, uh… accidentally end up in places I shouldn’t be. Closets, cupboards, behind doors that were totally open a second ago, you name it, I’ve probably been stuck there. But don’t worry, I have a solution: my voice. Also if you think you’ve walked away without me, I will loudly remind you of my very important presence that you are now walking away from. No hooman of mine is allowed to forget about me, not even for a second!
I also love to watch the world go by from the cat towers by the the window whether it’s birds, cars, or just a leaf doing something suspicious, I need to know what’s going on. I am quite the little purr machine. Once I start purring, it’s a cute little rumble and nonstop, letting everyone know I’m a happy cat. Sometimes I even forget that I’m purring, and it’ll go on until I drift off to sleep. My purr is so strong, you can actually feel it vibrating when I’m leaning against your arm or curled up on your lap!
But at the end of the day, all I really want is a forever lap to curl up on, a kitchen to supervise, and a hooman who understands that I am the centre of their world. If that sounds like you, let my foster carer know.
I am a boy kitten
All Little Paws Kitten Rescue cats and kittens come to you vet checked, desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed, flea treated, and litter trained. As we are a rescue group, the adoption fee is not negotiable. Little Paws Kitten Rescue cats and kittens are indoor or cat enclosure only and must go to homes that intend them to stay that way. This is for their safety, the health of the cat or kitten and for the environment. It is our foster carer’s choice as to which home a cat or kitten goes to. We match the cats and kittens to the adoptee; we do not necessarily “sell” to the first caller. As our foster carers are all volunteers raising the cats and kittens in their own home, we would appreciate you letting them know if you cannot make an appointment.
