About Magpie - 11 Week Old Mastiff x
Magpie is an 11-week-old female Mastiff mix with the perfect balance of playful energy and gentle affection. She loves a fun game of tug-of-war outside, but when playtime is over, she’s just as happy curling up for a peaceful nap on her bed.
Magpie is incredibly smart and eager to learn, making her highly trainable. She already sleeps through the night in her crate and is well on her way to being fully toilet trained.
In the evenings, she enjoys a good snuggle and will quickly become your most loyal companion.
Raised in a loving home, Magpie is a healthy, well-socialised pup who gets along beautifully with other dogs, both puppies and adults. She’s also been meeting plenty of people and is always friendly and affectionate.
Magpie will grow into a medium to large-sized dog, so puppy training classes are highly recommended to give her the best start. Like all dogs, she will thrive with plenty of love, exercise, and continued training. She’s highly engaged and enjoys learning, making her a joy to train as she matures. Ideally, Magpie’s new home will have a friendly adult dog to be her teacher, companion, and playmate. If not, someone in the household should be home for most of the day, as she still needs company and guidance.
While Magpie enjoys spending time outdoors, she needs to be an indoor family member when people are home and should sleep inside, at least until she’s fully grown. She will make a fantastic family pet and is best suited for children aged 8 and older. Secure fencing is a must—no small gaps or rural-style mesh or wire fencing.
Magpie is ready to bring joy, companionship, and endless love to her forever home!
Magpie has some siblings that will also be looking for their forever home’s shortly too.
Magpie’s adoption fee is $700 which includes her desexing when she is old enough. It also includes her first two vaccinations. She has been treated for fleas and worms, and is microchipped.
Magpie is in foster care in Newcastle, NSW. Since she is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to the Lower Hunter region (Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland and Cessnock) plus Central Coast and Sydney. She'll need to be returned to one of our approved vets for desexing when she's 5 to 6 months old.
