Captain

Captain, affectionately known as "Little Hurricane," is a whirlwind of energy with no off switch. If he's awake, he's moving at full speed-somersaulting off couches, sliding across floors, and bashing into doors in his endless pursuit of fun. This cheeky boy thrives on adventure, always looking for something to steal, chase, or turn into a game. He loves meeting new people, exploring new places, and has confidently taken on outings to cafes and shopping centers. He walks well on a lead, travels happily in the car, and is always eager to be part of the action.

As much as he loves people, Captain is still learning how to play appropriately. His enthusiasm can be overwhelming, and he doesn't yet understand his own strength. He plays rough and can be mouthy, so he needs a home willing to continue working on his manners. Because of his boisterous nature, he would be best suited to an experienced dog owner who is committed to his ongoing training. He has interacted well with larger dogs that can set boundaries, respecting their corrections, but he will push the limits if given the chance. He's very vocal when he wants attention, though he isn't an excessive barker at random noises or sights.

Captain is a true Velcro dog, happiest when he's by your side and involved in whatever you're doing. Whether it's following you around the house, "helping" with yard work, or demanding belly rubs, he wants to be where the people are. He loves tug-of-war, stealing whatever toy his sibling has, and making a game out of anything he can get his paws on. He's very food-motivated, responds well to training with treats, and has learned basic commands like sit and recall. With structure, patience, and the right home to guide his boundless energy, Captain will grow into a wonderful and loyal companion who brings endless fun and excitement to his family.
