About Happy
Happy is currently in Foster Care at Mannus Correctional Centre, NSW.
Meet Happy, the irresistibly charming 9-month-old Staffy mix who is as friendly as his name suggests. With a sunny personality and an insatiable love for people, Happy quickly becomes the heart of any gathering. Whether he's greeting you with enthusiastic tail wags or leaning in for some affectionate cuddles, Happy's mission is to melt your heart with every interaction.
Happy has shown to get along well with both dogs and cats, making him a versatile addition to any home. He walks beautifully on a leash, allowing for pleasant strolls throughout the neighborhood and beyond. However, when it comes to playtime, he's all about those durable chew toys. His love for a good chew means he'll need a collection of robust toys to keep him entertained and mentally stimulated.
Security is important for Happy's new environment, and he'd benefit from a securely fenced yard. Despite his adventurous nature, he's a bit timid when it comes to water, so activities on dry land are where he shines.
Happy has shown some separation anxiety but settles quickly with assurance and a positive atmosphere. His eagerness to please and friendly demeanor make him a delightful companion for a family ready to welcome a loving and energetic new member. Embrace the joy and happiness Happy offers – he’s excited to be a part of your life's adventures!

Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
