Max is a stunning young boy with a wiggly bum and a huge heart. He’s full of love and potential — but he’s been waiting far too long.

Sadly Max has been with us for too long and he sees other dogs come and go while he remains behind. It’s heartbreaking, because Max has so much love to give. He’s affectionate, intelligent, and eager for connection. He just needs someone to give him a chance.

Life in the Shelter isn’t fair on a dog like Max. He was never meant to spend his days in a pen. He deserves a backyard, a warm bed, a gentle hand — a life.

Max would do well as an only dog or with a female dog his size or larger and would thrive in a home where he’s part of the family. With time, love, and the freedom to just be, he’ll shine.

He’ll come desexed, vaccinated, wormed, flea and tick treated, and vet checked.
