Milko is truly the sweetest gentle girl, who will fill your household with so much love, she just needs to find you!

Nature
Milko came to her foster home with a very badly damaged back leg, that had to be amputated for her to continue having a pain free and active life. Although Milko came to her foster home in great pain, she was still gentle, calm and trusting. As the days have gone by, she has proven to be the most wonderful, loving, affectionate and sweet girl.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
People people people! The more the merrier, that’s Milko’s mantra. Milko would be great in any home, but considering she is still gaining back her strength and balance, older children would be more suitable.

Milko doesn’t seem to have been exposed to other cats or dogs close up before. She is getting used to her foster dog and lots of foster kitties. In the short period of time in foster, she has learnt to respect the others’ space and take space from them when they are too much. She is remarkable considering she is recovering from major surgery.

Milko is getting along great with the dog in her foster home, so a cat-savvy dog in her new home would suit her just fine. She would flourish as the only cat in the household, but could live with a calm older cat - the young ones are a bit boisterous for her liking!

Likes / Dislikes
Milko loves her biscuits, adores as much attention as she can get and is a true people’s kitty. Milko loves her humans equally, male and female alike.

Milko dislikes the vacuum, as most kitties do.

My PURR-fect home would be somewhere I can receive all the love that I deserve and give it to my people. I would suit an indoor only home, but may enjoy a catio with time.

Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.

If you would like to apply to adopt Milko please come meet her at PETstock Balcatta this Saturday from 10am until 2pm. She will be ready to go home with the first suitable family.

Milko’s adoption fee includes vet check, sterilisation, vaccination*, microchip, flea and worm treatment.

*Vaccinations are subject to availability due to a worldwide vaccine shortage. Our adoption team will notify you if the cat/kitten you apply to adopt has NOT been vaccinated.

Medical Notes: Before coming into care, Milko suffered an injury that resulted in dislocation of her back left stifle requiring amputation of her leg. She spent several weeks building up her exercise levels and was given the all clear by the vet. Due to this injury, she will need to be inside only, although access to a fully enclosed shaded cat run would be acceptable.
