About Lucy
Hi there! My name is Lucy and I am a 6 year old Maremma lady.
You know how us Maremmas have lovely long white coats - well that's ok, because I just love to be brushed. Lots of pats and attention are right up my alley. I am a pretty calm girl, and happy to chill out most of the time. Despite my breed, I really only bark if the need arises.
I am a confident girl and will come when I am called. I have good manners and I know how to wait for my food, but I'm still working on my sit and loose leash walking and will need continued practice in my new home. You know, a girl can't be perfect, but cheese treats do help to motivate me to do my best.
I have come from a farm environment with goats and cattle, and I am looking for a new home with plenty of space in a rural setting. My new humans need to understand my breed traits and how to guide me, as I navigate and settle into my new environment.

Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
