About Pixie - 10 Month Old Whippet X (On Trial)
Pixie is a sweet girl who is looking to find her forever home!
Pixie came into care with her two sisters, having been found abandoned and living rough by local Rangers. A lot of time was spent by the Pound staff teaching this trio of pups that humans are trustworthy. These girls were not aggressive, just very scared.
Pixie is still a small girl, shy and timid. We believe to help her reach her full potential she would benefit from having someone who spends a lot time at home and
who understands that due her rough start in life she will need a lot of
time, love and patience.
Once she gets to know you, she loves coming in for snuggles at the end of the day and is quite affectionate. This is really where she drops her guard and feels safe. Through the day she is quite cheeky and playful with her foster brother, her favourite game is to steal his toys hoping he will chase her or play tug-o-war.
Even though she can be shy and timid at first she’s great with other dogs and it’s recommended that she has another doggy friend as this is really where she learns and gains a lot of confidence. She currently spends her days outside and sleeps inside at night. Pixie is toilet trained.
Pixie is in foster care in Singleton, NSW. She is not available for adoption interstate. Her adoption fee is $600 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, and microchipped.
