About Beryl
All About Me and My Unique Personality:
Beryl will melt the heart of those she meets and add sparkle to the lives of those lucky enough to share a home with her.
Beryl means 'pale green precious stone', and her beautiful eyes really reflect the sweet nature of this little gem.
When she came into care at 8 weeks of age she was tiny, with an equally tiny voice. But she has made up for her size with her energy and playful antics. She has a curious and adventurous nature and is always looking to see what mischief she can get into. She eagerly investigates any new toys which are on high rotation to keep her interest, but is just as happy playing with a scrap of paper. She has won over the older slightly grumpy foster cat, and they are regularly seen playing and chasing each other. She also likes to play with (and sleep near) the gentle resident dog.
Her tail , which has a cute little white tip, appears to have a life of it's own with it's waving and wagging.
My Ideal Home:
Beryl's ideal home would be one where she can play to her heart's content and have cuddles galore. She would be happiest with a busy household where there is always something to do or see.
A gentle dog or another cat would be great company for her while the children are at school during the day, but she would also be quite content to snooze away the day, saving up her energy for when the kids come home.
Beryl is an indoor only kitten, unless there a secure cat enclosure is available.
What is Known About My Background:
Beryl came into care from a local animal facility.
I will be desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and up to date with flea, tick and worm treatments after March 4th.
How Do I Interact with Kids, Dogs, Cats and Other Pets:
Beryl would easily slot into most situations, but gentle introductions are preferable to start with. She has melted into our household and although she has not yet met any children, we are sure she would be a wonderful pet for a child or children due to her gentle and easygoing personality.
