Elvis is a lovable, bright character with a heart full of love and a quirky, endearing personality. His distinctive squished ear (from an old, healed injury) gives him extra character and doesn't affect his hearing or health.
This people-loving cat thrives on human companionship and will happily follow you from room to room, content to be your faithful shadow. While he's not a lap cat, Elvis loves to sit beside you as your couch companion. He definitely believes he belongs wherever his humans are — and will voice his opinion if left out!
Elvis brings joy and entertainment with his playful antics, often racing through the house and proudly carrying his favourite toys in his mouth like little treasures. His zest for life and curious nature make him very lovable.
Elvis's enthusiasm and curiosity can be overwhelming for some animals, as he doesn't understand personal space all that well! However, he currently lives successfully with a small dog, puppy, and senior cat who understand his goofy personality. The right animal companions can absolutely work with proper introductions over time, or he would happily bask in being your only pet.
Elvis would love an enclosed outdoor cat run where he can safely explore and exercise. He loves his food and is litter box trained.
Elvis would make a wonderful addition to a home that I'd looking for unique family member!
MEDICAL NOTES
Elvis's ear has been injured at some point earlier in his life. He now has similar to a 'cauliflower' ear and it will never look like a normal cat ear. The only long-term effect of his squished ear is that it may need checking for dirt in the wrinkles, which can be easily cleaned with a cotton wool ball if needed.
Adoption fee includes vet check, vaccination, flea and worm treatment, microchip - including the transfer of ownership - and sterilisation.
ADOPTION DETAILS
To apply to adopt, please complete a SAFE Cat Adoption Enquiry Form via our website. Please note payment must be made before adoption trial starts and we are unable to take cash payment.
Our adoption process includes a two-week trial to ensure your chosen cat is the right fit for your home. After a successful trial period, SAFE Bunbury will arrange transfer of ownership on your new pet's microchip and email copies of their vet records out to you.
