Hi, my name is Samma! I came into the care of the Angels' after being found lost and taken to the local pound. This was all very scary for me, but since being in foster care, I’m slowly remembering humans aren’t that bad, plus regular food and a warm place to sleep is wonderful.

I love to play! My Foster Mum says she can see with time I will be a cuddly affectionate boy. She says I’m a real sweetie and a little goofy, maybe because I love doing zoomies and pouncing on human feet when under the sheets!

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
I'm quite confident with the resident cats and enjoy a good rough and tumble so I would potentially suit a young playful cat, but I’m also happy on my own.

I haven’t been tested with any dogs, but I may be OK with the right introduction.

I haven’t met any children either. I can get scared easily by unexpected fast movements so I would suit a quiet mature house.

Likes / Dislikes
I love to play, have gentle pats and of course, food. I don’t like lots of people and loud noises.

My PURR-fect home would be a quiet house with people/person that will give me lots of love plus time and patience to regain my confidence. My Foster Mum says I’m a very special boy and would suit someone who wants a close relationship with their fur baby.

Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.

Medical Notes: Samma had a dental scale and polish in December 2024. During this procedure, he had a large ulcerative mass removed from his tongue. A biopsy was performed, which confirmed the mass was benign (non-cancerous) and had likely been caused by previous trauma. He has healed well and has been given the all clear by the vet.

Samma has Gingivitis, which is inflammation of the gums. This condition may require treatment on and off throughout his life. Samma will need his teeth checked at his annual vaccination. He may need treatment in between these times (of steroids and/or antibiotics) if the condition worsens. He may need teeth extracted in the future.
