Hello, my friends! I'm Octavius, from the Melody's Musical Litter!

My five siblings and I were rescued by SCA Qld when we were teeny tiny kittens, along with our beautiful mum Melody! Mum was a stray, bitten by a paralysis tick, and heavily pregnant! Luckily the vet contacted SCA, who immediately put their hand up so that mum could receive life-saving treatment, and we were born 🥰 No one came forward to claim us… luckily SCA Qld made room so we could grow up safe and healthy!

I'm a loving and affectionate little guy who will happily seek you out for pats and attention. I will even come for a cuddle with you when the mood strikes me! I'm great with gentle kids as I find they're loads of fun, and when I've had enough I'll go chill out on the cat tower, no biggie!

Being a kitten, I love my playtime. I have an absolute blast with all the cat toys, especially feathered toys and lasers (darn that elusive red dot)! I also enjoy zooming around the house, climbing the cat tower, and playing with the other kitties. So if you have other cats at home, that sounds great to me! I get along well with my feline friends and enjoy hanging out with them, once we've gotten to know each other. I haven't yet had the chance to meet any dogs. 💗 So we can have the best possible start to our new life together, be sure to follow the resources in the email from SCA Qld to help properly introduce me to my new fur sibling/s!

I'm a great little eater and will make sure I eat all my biccies (and wet food, when it's on offer). I like to stay well-hydrated, so no worries there. Oh, and I'm litter trained and happy to use a variety of litter types and tray styles… I'm adaptable like that!

PLEASE NOTE THAT SCA DOES NOT CONDONE ROAMING CATS – when applying to adopt me, it is expected that I will be kept as an indoor only cat and/or in a suitable outdoor enclosure.

All applications will be assessed for suitability and compatibility. Approved adoptions will commence with a two week trial, after which time the adoption will be final and the microchip will be transferred to you.

Medical Notes:
My mum tested negative for FIV and FeLV and I have been an inside only kitty since birth. I should be kept inside or in an enclosure to keep me (and the wildlife!) safe and healthy.
