Ivy’s journey into SA Cat Rescue began under heartbreaking circumstances – she lost her beloved human mum unexpectedly, leaving her confused and grieving. Cats feel loss just as deeply as we do, and Ivy was no exception. At first, she was shy and withdrawn, missing the warmth and comfort of her familiar world. But with gentle pats, kind words, and plenty of love, Ivy has found her way back to the affectionate and sweet soul she truly is. Now, she’s ready to find a new home where she can feel safe and cherished once more.

With her enchanting, expressive face and an abundance of affection to offer, Ivy is sure to capture your heart from the very first meeting. Though she might come across as shy initially, once she warms up, you'll discover a true love bug who's eager to share her life and companionship.

Ivy's perfect day involves curling up on your bed, enjoying some catnaps, and staying close for cuddles. She thrives on human companionship and isn't fond of spending too much time alone, so she would fit best in a household where she can be an integral part of the family. Ivy prefers to be the only feline in the home, allowing her sweet and tender nature to shine uninterrupted.

While Ivy is unsure about dogs, she's open to having older kids around who can understand and cherish her gentle disposition. Her ideal family will be compassionate about her past and willing to shower her with love and attention.
