NOTE: You are unable to meet Gretchen until/unless you have been notified that you are a successful applicant. An adoption cannot be approved unless you are able to come to the shelter to meet Gretchen in person and bring any dogs you currently have with you.


What I need in my new home:
• BREED KNOWLEDGE IS PREFERRED
• Daily walks, trips to the park or beach, playtime in the backyard
• Further training with basic doggie manners
• To be allowed inside with my family
• A doggie playmate would be great, if not then lots of socializing with other dogs
• I appeared scared of cats when meeting them at the shelter, I should be ok living with a cat as long as they are dog friendly
• I like both friendly male and female dogs and am very submissive towards them
• Secure Fencing (6ft Colorbond or equivalent)
• Lots of toys and mental stimulation
• Lots of love and attention
• I am a clever, young and active doggo with lots of focus and drive to learn - I would be great for dog training, trick training, agility etc.
• Due to my bouncy nature I may be best suited to a home without any small children incase I accidently knock them over but up to parents discretion

Things that I don't want in my new home:
• To be left alone in the backyard without any interaction
• Not to be allowed inside with my family
• Never to go on a walk or rides in the car

My best features:
• Super affectionate, cuddly & people orientated
• Wiggle butt
• I am very food motivated and have the drive and focus to excel in further learning
• Happy to hang out with other friendly dogs
• I know how to sit when asked
• I LOVE toys
• Love to snooze on the couch
• Exuberant & full of beans
• An all round beautiful girl who has so much potential and would make an amazing loyal and lifelong companion

Where I need to improve / Training required
• I will require further basic training to ensure i am the best behaved girl that i can be
• I can pull quite strongly on the lead, walking on a harness/halti should help this as long as further on leash training
• I can be bouncy when excited - further training with positive reinforcement should help this
